- Stephen Laiken, MD - Internal Medicine

Dr. Laiken opened his practice in the Winter of 1999.

Dr. Laiken got his degree of doctor of medicine at the University of Brussels in Belgium.
He completed his residency in internal Medicine at Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Towson, Maryland.
He is Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Laiken has been certified in Advanced Cardiac life support and maintains current basic life support certification.
He received certification in Acute Trauma Life Support at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma.
He practiced full time at the emergency department at Carroll Hospital where he also worked as a hospitalist.
Dr. Laiken started his practice in outpatient primary care medicine in 1999 in Hampstead, Maryland, Carroll County.

Dr. Laiken's formal hospital affiliations include:

With informal referral base throughout the Baltimore area, Carroll County and southern Pennsylvania.

- Amy Yankolonis, CRNP, MSN Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

Joined the practice the summer of 2009


Masters in Nursing from University of Maryland.
Bachelors degree from Villa Julie College (now Stevenson University).
Board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Completes yearly continuing education requirements and is always interested in keeping up with the most current medical practice.
Member of the medical staff of St. Joseph Medical Center.
Experience as a clinical professor in the nursing program of Towson University.
Nurse practitioner in the Emergency department at St. Joseph Medical Center.
Experience on the medical admissions team at Sheppard Enoch Pratt Hospital.
Current DEA and CDS Licenses for the prescription of medications.
Completed training in Botox and Dermal Filler injections from Advanced Medical Educators Training.
